Using Femap API to Automate Results Visualization

Join Saratech Mechanical Engineer, Allison Redderson-Lear, for our upcoming CES: Using Femap API to Automate Results Visualization on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11am PDT.

In this session, we will cover how to use Femap API to contour results and save an image of the graphics window. The benefits of learning to do this are that many images of results can be generated quickly with minimal user interaction. These images can then be added to analysis reports and design reviews. This is the first of a series of Customer Enablement Sessions on building an analysis report using Femap API.

Attendees can expect to learn:

  • How to quickly generate images for use in analysis reports.
  • How to update existing or create new APIs that are compatible with output vector IDs from Femap 2020.1 and above.
  • How to set the output set and output vector for contouring.
  • How to determine an output vector ID in the API.
  • How to change the background color of the graphics window
